The T3 Turkey Red is one of Walter Johnson's most impressive and classic cards. Johnson, of course, is one of the key Hall of Famers in the Turkey Red set, which is universally recognized as one of the most substantial and beautiful sets ever produced. This highly graded example is in VG/EX+ condition, which is particularly impressive for a T3 Turkey Red. This example has vibrant colors, outstanding registration, excellent centering, and honest corner wear. The reverse features the Turkey Red advertising back style (often considered more desirable among collectors) and displays a few spots of discoloration. T3s rarely survive in this high grade, let alone examples of the key stars of the set such as Walter Johnson.
