Graded GOOD+ 35 by SGC. Attractive mid-grade example of this classic tobacco card of Hall of Famer Ty Cobb. The green-background pose has long been considered the rarest of the four poses of Cobb in the T206 set. The offered example displays a brilliant green background, outstanding registration, moderate corner wear, and centering slightly toward the top. Boldly printed Sweet Caporal 150/25 advertising reverse. There is a light unobtrusive crease running through the green background noted for accuracy. A very pleasing example of one Cobb's most popular cards from the premier tobacco issue of the 1910 era. Reserve $10.
