Graded GOOD 2 by SGC. Attractive example of this classic tobacco card of Hall of Famer Ty Cobb from the popular T206 White Border series. Cobb's red-background portrait pose is one of the key cards in the set and one of the most recognizable of all prewar-era tobacco cards. This example displays a striking red background, crisp image, honest corner wear, and centering toward the top left. The Piedmont 350 advertising reverse is boldly printed. Downgraded due to a stray ink mark along Cobb's jersey and light creasing around the bottom right corner. This is an appealing example of one of the key cards from the premier tobacco issue of the 1910 era. Reserve $10.
