Graded GOOD+ 2.5 by PSA. Presented is a very attractive Exhibits card dating from Gehrig's first full season with the Yankees, in 1925. This is an extremely significant card as it is recognized as Lou Gehrig's true rookie card. This is also one of the key rarities and perhaps the most noteworthy of all Exhibits cards. The card is bright and crisp with outstanding picture quality but has even corner wear and a tiny tear on the bottom edge. Both the front and back are bright and clean. A touch of paper loss is visible on the lower-left edge of the reverse (noted for accuracy). Though accurately graded at Good+, it certainly has a far better appearance. This is an extremely historic card, Lou Gehrig's true rookie card, and one that would be a highlight in even the most advanced card or Hall of Fame collection. Opening Bid $25,000.
