Graded FAIR 1.5 by PSA. Bat-off-shoulder pose of Hall of Famer Ty Cobb with an extremely rare Uzit back. This is a very attractive image of Cobb with bold colors. Despite its modest assigned grade, it presents very nicely, with even wear to the corners and light creasing present but not distracting in any way. The bat-off-shoulder pose is the only T206 Cobb pose that was produced with advertising for Uzit cigarettes on the back. All T206 cards with Uzit backs are highly desirable, especially Hall of Famers. The Uzit Cobb is universally recognized as one of the best front and rare-back combinations that can possibly exist in the entire T206 set. Very few examples are known.
